Theability to dance can create a great interest in your child's life. As they become older, taking part in an evening activity can keep them out of trouble and broaden their opportunities. For you it is a great way to keep fit and meet new people!
ZUMBA Dance Fitness is the high energy Latin dancing fun as made famous by Beto Perez worldwide! We pride ourselves in sticking closely to the choreography as created by Beto, and thus retaining theoriginal dance fun flavour and "Ditch the workout and join the party!" atmosphere!
Lucy Jane's School of Dance offers a wide range of classes to suit both children and adults. IDTA examinations are held yearly. So far to date Lucy Jane's School of Dance has a 100% pass rate withmajority of pupils obtaining honours. Annual shows and cabarets are held where pupils are expected to participate. The dance school also takes part in carnivals, local charity events and fetes. Dance examinations are held where pupils will receive an official certificate and either a medal or a rosette.
We've been based in Clapham for the last 20 years and offer classes for beginners and improvers of all ages from 3 years. Classes do not cost as much as you would think! We enter students for I.S.T.D.examinations in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre, Jazz and Tap. Theatrical productions take place to expand training, and there are opportunities to perform at varying levels according to your commitment, which can include drama and national dance.

We also hold Birthday parties in the Tu Danse Studios,Peterboroughs newest and most modern Dance and Drama facility. Tu Danse Studios comprises of four dance areas each with large skylights for natural lighting, full length mirrors & ballet barres. The studios are also air conditioned for maximum comfort and have fully sprung floors for safe dance practice.
The Allied Association Teachers of Dancing was inaugurated in 1921 Professional Teachers from Merseyside amalgamated to create a uniform technique for Ballroom Dancing. The Association was a founderMember of the official Board of Ballroom Dancing Limited, London, British Dance Council, and in co-operation with affiliated Associations created the basis of the Ballroom Dancing as we know it today.
Dancing is good exercise for your body and mind, aiding your memory & teaching your brain to focus. We have evening and daytime dance classes, suitable for all levels of dancer including absolutebeginners. All dancing is without a partner. In our modern line dance classes you will learn to dance choreographed routines to a variety of music genres, including pop, 60's, 70's, Latin, Irish, R&B, Country and more. All routines are broken down into manageable sections.
Abigail started dancing in Glasgow at the age of 7 with Bernadette Sloane, she successfully auditioned for the Scottish Ballet's Junior Associate programme. She went on to full time training atScotland's premier dance school, The Dance School of Scotland where she performed in many school shows. In 1992 Abigail became one of the first students to attend The Royal Ballet's new senior associate programme in Birmingham.
