ECCO Dance Sheffield was founded in 1992 by Amanda Horne. It began in a church hall in Ecclesfield with dance classes in ballet, tap and freestyle. It moved to the Burton Street project in 1995 andquickly expanded to dance classes everyday. In the 16 years at Burton Street Ecco have trained many freestyle & Rock n Roll champions. Had children perform in productions at the Lyceum and Crucible. Many pupils have gone on to have a career in the dance industry.
The roots of Imperial Classical Ballet stem from the early days of the ISTD and the first written syllabus in 1913 which was based on the teaching of the French School from the Paris Opéra. Thesyllabus has now evolved to promote the English classical style and address the changing needs of Ballet dancers today.

Founded in 2009 by Katie Geddes, The Dance Studio Leeds is based in a converted textile mill very close to Leeds city centre. A trained professional dancer and teacher herself, she had always dreamtof running her own studio centre, so when the opportunity arose, she jumped at the chance, and thus the business formed.
In July 2009 more than 30 girls took part in the first ever Cheermania Summer camp! Over two separate weeks students between the ages of 4 and 16 came together to experience all the highs and lows ofcheerleading - a taster of what it is like to work as a team. Our cheerleaders learnt jumps, stunts, tumbling and dance. Cheermania has since held many holiday workshops, our annual summer camp, and opened weekly classes for all ages in 2010.
