The Esk Academy Of Dancing was founded by the Principal Beryl Couper who has trained and danced professionally in Edinburgh and London. Miss Couper was Co Director of Scottish - American Ballet Company for several years with Alexander Bennett, a former soloist with the Royal Ballet and Artistic Director of the American Ballet Company.

Children starting in our youngest age groups begin with lessons which have been specially devised to develop the skills needed to study dance, but which also help co-ordination, musicality, confidence and imagination. Little Stars Nursery is located in the centre of Truro within easy walking distance from Moorefield Car Park and all city centre shops in the Jason Thomas Performing Arts centre where the Nursery has full use of the facility. Little Stars Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage concentrating on the 6 main areas of the curriculum.
We offer children's Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap dance classes near Osterley, Isleworth. We follow the Ballet syllabus of the highly reputable Royal Academy of Dance and the Modern, tap and jazz syllabus of the Imperial Society of Teacher's of Dancing.
With branches in Carnforth, Kendal and Halton, the school covers the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area & our classes are graded according to age and ability offering children the opportunity to gain confidence in a structured, creative and fun environment. Children are accepted from the age of 2 1/2 yrs and we train students up to professional level. Our teachers are CRB checked. Pupils are encouraged to enter for ISTD exams and given the opportunity of annual performances in the theatre.
Claire Greenwood, creator and founder of Tappy Toes, has been dancing since the age of three. Claire trained at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom, Surrey, on a three year musical theatre course. She gained Distinctions in Ballet, Modern and Tap ISTD Teaching Associates, and an Anatomy Diploma. A professional dancer since 1998, she has performed with major pop artists including Destiny's Child, KT Tunstal and Catherine Jenkins.
At Emma's Pole Dancing you can either join one of the mixed ability classes that run regularly throughout the week or book a private lesson, either 1-2-1 or with friends. If you're looking for a fun way to celebrate a hen do or birthday, Emma's Pole Dancing can also organise a bespoke pole party for your group. Whether you want to get fit, work towards a medal, put on a performance or simply have fun, Emma's Pole Dancing will help you achieve your goal.
Lizzie trained at The Arts Educational School in Tring, studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Flamenco, Music, Drama and Singing. She was awarded a CDET ballet scholarship, and graduated with a Diploma in Professional Dance. For the past twelve years Lizzie has been a fully qualified ISTD teacher in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Street dance, she continues to study and extend her qualifications. She is a qualified Zumba instructor.

Husband and wife duo, Carl and Alexandra Davies, have been dancing together since 2001. Starting at a local Salsa class run by Katy James, otherwise known as Katy Cubana. As a result of her fun way of teaching and enthusiasm for dancing, they fell in love with Salsa. They were soon hooked and began going to all her classes, including her Cardiff class where she taught with another experienced Salsa teacher, Andy Witt. Thanks to their efforts, they learned Salsa quickly and began teaching themselves.
