JC Dance was established by Joanna Crawford in September 2004 with two classes: Senior Pop and Adult Tap at Poulton Youth and Community Centre. At the same time, the school began to provide after school dance clubs at several local primary schools and then added further classes to the Community Centre schedule in January 2007. All our Poulton classes are currently held at the YMCA Youth & Community Centre every afternoon after school.
Started in January 2005 by Louise Squires A.I.S.T.D B.A Hons, Southside Dance aims to provide children with opportunities to learn the joy of dance, perform, build confidence and make friends in a fun, friendly and safe environment. We are committed to delivering high quality dance training whether that be simply for fitness and fun or in preparation for entering the arts on a professional level.
The Kensington Dance Studio aims to bring all forms of social dancing to everyone in an elegant and sociable atmosphere. The teaching is of the highest quality, whether at a social or medallist standard. Director Ralf Schiller and his teaching team are certified by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Ralf is a member of the Society's Club Dance Faculty, as well as co-founder and organizer of the Pink Jukebox, Pink Dancers, and Pink Jukebox Trophy.
We have successfully run Strictly Ballroom and Latin Dance Courses for several years and these have been tremendously popular. We have closed the beginner lessons for summer but will be starting new classes for beginners from mid-September 2013 on Tuesday evenings from 7.15 - 8.15pm. Cost is £5.00 per person. This includes complimentary light refreshments after. Please call for the actual start dates nearer the time.
We are a well established Dance Academy in Oldham and are here to teach you how to be creative through dance. Blackwell dance academy opened its' doors in 2004 with only a handful of pupils. It now has around 150 pupils and is growing from strength to strength. In 2010 it moved to its own purpose built and fully equipped studio based at "The Factory Studios", Bournemouth. It prides itself on being a very friendly school with a high standard of teaching. The school offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Street Styles, and Musical Theatre.
All our teachers are fully qualified to enter pupils for dance exams, under the I.S.T.D examination board. They take part in festivals, competitions, auditions for theatre, TV and film. We also hold regular workshops where cast members from London West End come and spend the day with the kids, teaching them routines from their show. It's about having fun whilst learning, and building your child's confidence in a friendly and motivated environment.

The Vanessa Golborn School of Dance was established in 1994 and since then has become one of the most respected dance schools in Hampshire specialising in teaching Classical Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance syllabus) Modern, Tap, Jazz (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing exam board) and Contemporary and Street dance. We have over 50 classes a week training dancers from the age of 2 ½ yrs to adults, from beginners to vocational level.
We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre, boys only street following the IDTA syllabus and AQA GCSE Performing Arts (Dance.) Street takes any form of popular music - from pop to hip hop - and choreographs routines to the beats. Street is what you see on all the music channels and Top of the Pops. Some of the most successful pop acts have made it big by combining Streetdance routines with their tunes and lyrics.
Mrs Janne Carrington, Principal of the Hollywood Dance Academy, established her own school of dance in 1982 after fulfilling a highly successful career in dance. Her career started in ballet with The London Festival Ballet, Vienna State Ballet and then moved on into musical theatre appearing in musicals, television shows, galas, circus, pantomimes throughout the world all too numerous to mention. During her professional career Mrs Carrington won several awards for choreography and directing.

Children can attend our RAD Ballet classes from two years of age. We start with a simple, imaginative lesson that gradually builds a basic classical technique. Once your child is confident they can move on to the Pre-Primary and Primary levels, and are invited to take part in a Presentation Class in front of an RAD examiner when they are ready. At this stage they are ready to embark upon the Vocational Grades and enjoy the variety of classical ballet, character dance and free movement.
