All of our teaching staff are passionate about dance, are energetic, fun loving and bring a creative edge to all they do. I have been teaching and choreographing for ten years and never tire of inspiring people to dance. My own dancing career began in the city of Wollongong, Australia when I fell in love with my Saturday dance classes at the age of 2. In 1999 I gained a Graduate Diploma in Education and while working in many primary schools across London, I also developed a passion for teaching.
Colette has been passionate about dance from an early age, initially studying Tap, Ballroom and Irish dance for a number of years. After leaving Art School she entered into a successful career as a model and often found herself being asked along to castings which required some dancing skills. This led to a number of exciting opportunities, including being one of the dance troupe in the hit British movie, 'Scandal' and performing on stage with 80's pop icon, Adam Ant.
Ballet is one of the most demanding but also one of the most enjoyable dance forms ever created, providing benefits such as good posture, discipline and confidence building. We run Royal Academy of Dance Graded and Vocational classes encouraging the joy of movement in children from 3 years of age at our studio in Beckenham, Kent. We offer annual outings to the Royal Opera House, hold workshops and other dance related events.
