
It was previously known as 'Richard Rose Academy' where the core subjects were Ballroom and Latin. Kerrey Clarke, the principal of the school, altered the timetable considerably to create a theatreschool concentrating mainly on Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap. Since 2003 the timetable has extended greatly introducing new subjects such as Hip Hop, BOKWA, Zumba and even Pole dance Exercise.

10 years after opening my school in Moseley with just a handful of students, I am delighted to now be able to offer a much wider range of dance opportunities not only to my dedicated students but alsoto new students and adults. As always, due to my background with The Royal ballet School and Birmingham Royal ballet, the core of my classes lie within ballet but I am now able to include other beneficial dance and exercise forms such as yoga, pilates and contemporary.

Whether you're looking to supplement your studies, or just fancy strutting your stuff and keeping fit, we have something for everyone! A partner organisation with Birmingham Hippodrome and BirminghamRoyal Ballet, dx is a dance house dedicated to creating exciting opportunities for people of all walks of life to experience dance as participants, performers and audience members.

Chelis School of Dance, situated in Sheldon, Birmingham, has been teaching Children to dance since 1997. Accepting both boys and girls from the age of three, the school offers a range of classesincluding Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Gymnastics, Freestyle and Theatre Craft. Classes are kept small to ensure individual attention and are taken by qualified teachers who are very passionate about what they do.

We offer a range of adult dance classes from ballet, tap & salsa to Egyptian Belly Dance, contemporary & creative - suitable for all levels. We offer a range of Children's dance classes from ballet,tap & street to Baby Ballroom, contemporary & jazz - suitable for all levels.

Our core subjects are Ballet, Tap and Jazz and are all taught to exam standard. Pupils are grouped in similar age classes and are focused towards taking exams as we aim for continual personaldevelopment. We can also offer professional qualifications for our older students. Ballet Pointe work is available for our more senior students. The pupils are entered for examinations with the Professional Teachers of Dancing (PTD).

Funky Feet was established in 2005 by Principles Nicola Philpot and Tracey Buller, we deliver fun, friendly and high quality teaching. Our classes cater for beginners through to advanced level, andstudents can become involved in shows, competition, exams, workshops and many other exciting projects.
