York Dance

Hi, thanks for visiting our site here is a brief introduction to Lorraine and her dance school. Lorraine started Ballroom dancing when she was 7 years old. At the age of 11 Lorraine knew that she wanted to make dancing her career when she started to help teaching the younger pupils in her Saturday dance classes. Lorraine left school at 15 and started training to be a qualified dance teacher at Alfred Golds, Sheffiled.

At 17 she became the youngest person to become an Associate in Ballroom dancing with the International Dance Teachers Association (the largest dance association in the world). Lorraine then went on to take the Associate in Latin American and Old Time and soon after became a member of the I.D.T.A.
