Welcome to The Siegeris School of Dance. The dance school, with its happy environment, has a professional and enthusiastic approach with a high standard of teaching under the direction of JenniferSiegeris RAD Teaching Dip, RAD RTS, AISTD DDE.
We've been based in Clapham for the last 20 years and offer classes for beginners and improvers of all ages from 3 years. Classes do not cost as much as you would think! We enter students for I.S.T.D.examinations in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre, Jazz and Tap. Theatrical productions take place to expand training, and there are opportunities to perform at varying levels according to your commitment, which can include drama and national dance.
Abigail started dancing in Glasgow at the age of 7 with Bernadette Sloane, she successfully auditioned for the Scottish Ballet's Junior Associate programme. She went on to full time training atScotland's premier dance school, The Dance School of Scotland where she performed in many school shows. In 1992 Abigail became one of the first students to attend The Royal Ballet's new senior associate programme in Birmingham.
The John Hutson School of Dancing is based in South Woodford (convenient for North East London and Essex) and offers a wide range of classes and private lessons, in Ballroom and Latin Americandancing, for people of all ages and levels of dancing ability. You may have enjoyed watching 'Strictly Come Dancing' or be getting married and find the prospect of the first dance daunting! Many friendships develop from the enjoyment of a common interest and dancing is no exception.
There is no age limit; we have dancers of all ages, shapes and sizes. You are all welcome to our classes. We have a dancers who studied ballet on a regular basis but gave up as adults in order tostudy or work. The class also attracts dance students wanting to improve technique or keep fit and tone up. We also offers graded ballet classes for those who are interested.
No partner necessary. So if you are interested and looking for a good time, having fun and keeping fit, then why not come down and see what all the fuss is about and join us for the ultimate Londonsalsa experience. We have a membership system available where you purchase 6 lessons for the price of 5. We produce a membership card with your photograph on it. This membership is not time or date sensitive and can be used at any of our venues.
We have successfully run Strictly Ballroom and Latin Dance Courses for several years and these have been tremendously popular. We have closed the beginner lessons for summer but will be starting newclasses for beginners from mid-September 2013 on Tuesday evenings from 7.15 - 8.15pm. Cost is £5.00 per person. This includes complimentary light refreshments after. Please call for the actual start dates nearer the time.
Val and Allan Norris have been ballroom dancing for many years now. When they retired they thought they would like to do something they enjoyed and also be able to give other retired people anafternoon of dancing and socialising in a relaxed friendly environment and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some scrumptious cakes. Val has also been to line dancing classes for some years now and teaches some of the easier ones from time to time.
The Dance Studio is a dance school based in Winchmore Hill, London, N21 offering excellent training in Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) Ballet, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern andTap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Street Jazz. Established in 1983 by the Principal, Loraine Grayston, The Dance Studio expanded from one Studio and moved to brand new premises comprising 5 purpose built dance studios in 1995.
The school follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus for its Ballet, Tap and Modern classes, which are taught by fully qualified teachers. Regardless of whether your child is justdancing for fun or wishes to take it further, we strive to provide a warm and friendly environment whilst delivering the highest standard of training.
