Natalie Tierney, Principal of Centre Stage Dance Academy has been dancing since the age of four. Dancing and performing has always been Natalie's passion and over the years she won numerous trophiesand awards and has performed at theatres throughout the UK. She completed her dance teacher qualifications at the age of sixteen and began teaching children of all ages at her local dance school in Great Barr, Birmingham.
Estrella Dance Academy are now in our new studio at Venture Way in Brierley Hill. Our newly completed studi has a purpose made 174m2 dance floor with full height mirrors and ballet barres, separaterest areas with lockers for the students and plenty of seating for parents to wait. The Academy aims to offer a broad selection of dance style to suit all ages and abilities. While all pupils are trained to examination standard we appreciate not everyone wishes to enter them, andthey can come purely for pleasure. As well as lessons all pupils are encouraged to take part in Annual School Shows, Fetes, Carnivals. We try where possible to include as many children and styles of dance as we can, to give them a sense of performance and to share their talent and love of dance.
Due to popular demand we are starting a new rainbow class for those budding super stars out there 4-7 years old, dancing to the lastest hits and party favourites. Due to a change in circumstancesTattoo rehersals on TUESDAY 28TH OCTOBER and TUESDAY 4TH NOVEMBER will be at the community centre at a slightly earlier time of 5pm.
It was previously known as 'Richard Rose Academy' where the core subjects were Ballroom and Latin. Kerrey Clarke, the principal of the school, altered the timetable considerably to create a theatreschool concentrating mainly on Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap. Since 2003 the timetable has extended greatly introducing new subjects such as Hip Hop, BOKWA, Zumba and even Pole dance Exercise.
Funky Feet was established in 2005 by Principles Nicola Philpot and Tracey Buller, we deliver fun, friendly and high quality teaching. Our classes cater for beginners through to advanced level, andstudents can become involved in shows, competition, exams, workshops and many other exciting projects.
