This is a dance form that incorporates Egyptian, Turkish and Tribal Belly Dance, overlaying it with a gypsy flair that includes folkloric and flamboyant skirtwork.
Colchester Dance School principle teacher Tim Emms is a highly qualified IDTA and UKA teacher and has been teaching for over 20 years. Tim has an Honorary Degree with the Associated Board of Dance. Itis our aim to teach quality Ballroom and Latin American dancing to all - from complete beginners to advanced dancers. We offer this tuition as either group classes or one to one private lessons. Modern Jive classes are a great way to learn to dance, keep fit and meet new people. Come and join us at the William Burt Center, West Winch, King's Lynn, PE33 0JY Sundays starting at 7.30pm. As a welcome to Dance4all, we offer new students a free lesson in the class of their choice (excludes private studio classes). If you wish to continue, classes are then paid in ten week blocks. Pleasecontact us to register before attending your first class, as some classes may have waiting lists.
Chameleon Theatre Arts, previously known as The Jackie Cox Theatre Arts School was established in the 1980s by fellow and examiner with the AAD, Jacqueline Cox. The school was taken over in 2005,following Jackie's retirement, by the school's first pupil, Louise Steers.
The Stephanie Ledger School of Dancing was established in 1972 by Stephanie Ledger. The school offers ballet classes for children aged 3 and upwards. The emphasis of the classes is on developing dancetechnique in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Unlike many schools, all our classes offer live music from our highly qualified pianists which ensures the pupils develop their musicality.
The Anne Gale School of Dance prides itself on the excellent training in dance that the students receive whilst attending classes with us. It has been the established school in Luton for over fortyyears and now also holds classes in the nearby village Barton-le-clay. Claire Greenwood, creator and founder of Tappy Toes, has been dancing since the age of three. Claire trained at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom, Surrey, on a three year musical theatre course. She gainedDistinctions in Ballet, Modern and Tap ISTD Teaching Associates, and an Anatomy Diploma. A professional dancer since 1998, she has performed with major pop artists including Destiny's Child, KT Tunstal and Catherine Jenkins.

Miss Hazel Ann Ellesse founded Talents Theatre School in 1973. She now runs the school with her daughter Miss Sharna Lawrence, and their fully qualified and enthusiastic staff. Pupils are taken from 2½ years of age in our pre-school classes where they are taught the basic principles of Theatre Arts, and can develop their enthusiasm for music and dance. Students may progress with us through Graded, Medal & Award Examinations to Advanced levels, or join one or more of our Fun classes.
Footsteps School of Dancing was formed in January 1996. Footsteps School of Dancing was formed to offer good quality teaching to a high standard of technique for children who take exams and sociallyoffer fun classes to adults.
