Sanskruti means culture in Sanskrit. The drive to initiate this institution was to introduce this art form to the youth in Cambridge, which is already a central core for several other cultural activities. The aim of Sanskruti School of Dance is to holistically train students in Bharatanatyam, incorporating all the finest nuances of this ancient and complex Indian art form. This allows students to develop a sense of discipline, commitment and professionalism towards the dance.

We are a family run business offering latin and ballroom dancing lessons in Hertfordshire. I, Suzanne, as a professional, have been teaching for over 30 years but as a medallist and amateur dancer, I am not prepared to say! During this time I have seen many "crazes" hitting the ballroom, from the Disco in the 70's through to Western Line Dancing, Salsa and Mambo, but my greatest satisfaction is seeing Ballroom & Latin coming to the front again, thanks to the popularity of Strictly Come Dancing.

Nicole started dancing at the age of 5. At age 11 she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Arts Educational School by which time she knew she wanted to pursue a career within the arts. Nicole then went onto higher education enrolling in a three year theatre dance course at London Studio Centre. Whilst training she completed major examinations in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Drama, Singing and Acting.

The 8 week beginners Cuban salsa lessons begin this Tuesday the 11th September at, The Friendship Hall, cnr Mill Road and Cawston Road, Aylsham. The lessons plan to make you an accomplished beginner, which would require you to do some home work as well. All aspects of the footwork which make up the beginners steps will be covered by using tried and tested exercise patterns. Emphasis on the importance of the music and what makes up salsa music will also be covered.
Our one to one lessons and classes for amateurs in Ballroom, Latin styles, Sequence, Disco & Street. Classes are based upon a social, fun & friendly atmosphere, but still retaining a high standard of tuition. Examinations are usually held 3 times a year through the International Dance Teachers Association.

Brenda Taylor began her training at The Yvonne Dudley Academy in Wansted. She gained a Royal Academy of Dancing Scholarship at the age of nine and then went on to study all forms of dance at The Arts Educational School. During this time she appeared at the London Palladium, The Prince of Wales Theatre and the Festival Hall alongside many well known performers from the 1950's and 1960's. The Brenda Taylor School of Dance and Performing Arts was established in Harlow in 1965.
