Colchester Dance School principle teacher Tim Emms is a highly qualified IDTA and UKA teacher and has been teaching for over 20 years. Tim has an Honorary Degree with the Associated Board of Dance. Itis our aim to teach quality Ballroom and Latin American dancing to all - from complete beginners to advanced dancers. We offer this tuition as either group classes or one to one private lessons. Dancing is a great way to keep fit and a have a lot of fun too!
Chameleon Theatre Arts, previously known as The Jackie Cox Theatre Arts School was established in the 1980s by fellow and examiner with the AAD, Jacqueline Cox. The school was taken over in 2005,following Jackie's retirement, by the school's first pupil, Louise Steers.

Miss Hazel Ann Ellesse founded Talents Theatre School in 1973. She now runs the school with her daughter Miss Sharna Lawrence, and their fully qualified and enthusiastic staff. Pupils are taken from 2½ years of age in our pre-school classes where they are taught the basic principles of Theatre Arts, and can develop their enthusiasm for music and dance. Students may progress with us through Graded, Medal & Award Examinations to Advanced levels, or join one or more of our Fun classes.

Nicole started dancing at the age of 5. At age 11 she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Arts Educational School by which time she knew she wanted to pursue a career within the arts. Nicole thenwent onto higher education enrolling in a three year theatre dance course at London Studio Centre. Whilst training she completed major examinations in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Jazz, Drama, Singing and Acting.
Brenda Taylor began her training at The Yvonne Dudley Academy in Wansted. She gained a Royal Academy of Dancing Scholarship at the age of nine and then went on to study all forms of dance at The ArtsEducational School. During this time she appeared at the London Palladium, The Prince of Wales Theatre and the Festival Hall alongside many well known performers from the 1950's and 1960's. The Brenda Taylor School of Dance and Performing Arts was established in Harlow in 1965.
Sitara, born in England to Hungarian parents, had a classical dance training from the age of seven where she found her natural affinity for dance and performing arts. Nurturing an interest inContinental dance styles, Sitara took up Salsa and as her desire to become a professional dancer grew, she travelled abroad to expand her dance knowledge. It was during a visit to Turkey that Sitara discovered belly dance, becoming mesmerised by this ancient, mystic dance form that was to become her passion.
The Footwork Dance School is based in Chelmsford, Essex, with classes of children and adults, special needs and performing groups. Dance parties, venue hire, rehearsal space and private lessons arealso available by request. The team are aged between 10 and 18 years and have attended regular dance classes for many years. They have performed in the Mardi Gras shows at the Sadlers Wells and Her Majesty's Theatres in London.

Witness the stunning performances of the pupils of Adagio School of Dance at the bi-annual dancing show. Entitled 'Tonight's the Night 2014', the show demonstrated the amazing talent and skill ofstudents. Pupils from across the school performed show stopping numbers in a variety of genres, including musical theatre, tap, modern, hip hop, contemporary and ballet. The second act includes Adagio's ballet adaptation of one of the most famous classical ballet's 'Coppélia'.
Wiggles dance studios has been based in Aviation way Southend for the past 16 years and has become one of the most successful schools of its kind in the UK. We teach all age groups from 2½ to adultsin all styles including street, break-dance, lockin Popping, hip-hop, jazz, ballet and ballroom. The dance world is moving at a very fast pace, we train in every new style as it comes along and embrace every new dance craze, keeping our pupils completely up to date.
Kings Dance Studio has been teaching dance to people of all ages since 1964. The school enters in as many local competitions as possible as well as the annual amateur freestyle area championshipswhich has lead us to the Nationwide Championships for 15 years running. We have a formation team and are always looking at involving willing and enthusiastic students in the team environment.
Pirouette School of Dance has been established since 1999 and holds classes for children and adults in London and Essex. At Pirouette we offer members an opportunity to study the four main aspects ofdance: Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, & Modern, as well as singing tuition.
The aim of the school is to provide a fun and educational class in which children learn the principals of dance. Introducing dance as a positive and pleasurable experience helps to encourage a love ofdance from an early age, encouraging the continuation of dancing beyond pre-school years. Dance Pointe was introduced in September 2012. This is the main school in which children graduate to when they have completed their training with Melody Bear and Teddy Toes classes.
Keeley Scott trained at Arts Educational School and has been working in the dance industry for over 15 years, first as a dancer progressing to choreographing. She successfully works with children toproduce fun lessons, theatrical experiences, and innovative workshops.
Anderson Dance Group has been established in Billericay for 21 Years. Anderson Dance Group specialises in Ballroom Latin, Freestyle Disco, Rock n Roll and Street and Hip Hop. Classes run for ages from3 years to adult inclusive. Anderson Dance Group competes at National level in Freestyle Disco, Rock n Roll and Street and Hip Hop and has done so for many years.
