THE Doric Dance Centre is a friendly ballroom and Latin-American dance school where you can learn to dance to keep fit and make friends! The Centre concentrates on teaching you to dance socially, withno exams or competitions to worry about, so that you can go out and enjoy yourself! All of the classes are held in a purpose built dance studio in Cheshunt and all age groups and abilities are catered for. Adult classes are held every weekday evening.

The Valle Academy of Performing Arts is based in studios in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, North London. Since being founded in 1994 by Corinne Valle, The Valle Academy has been teaching performing artsin our acting, singing and dance classes to students from all walks of life and ages. Our drama school covers a wide spectrum of subjects within the performing arts.

Ridgeway are one of the leading Theatre Arts Schools in Hertfordshire established since 1989 with a wonderful success rate of young performers working within the industry. Brenda Taylor began her training at The Yvonne Dudley Academy in Wansted. She gained a Royal Academy of Dancing Scholarship at the age of nine and then went on to study all forms of dance at The ArtsEducational School. During this time she appeared at the London Palladium, The Prince of Wales Theatre and the Festival Hall alongside many well known performers from the 1950's and 1960's. The Brenda Taylor School of Dance and Performing Arts was established in Harlow in 1965.

Lorraine Hodges has been teaching for 30 years in Harlow Essex and the surrounding areas. Lorraine started out with Brenda Taylor school of dance in Harlow. Many students have gone on to vocationalperforming arts colleges and are having very successful dance careers. Lorraine trained at The Arts Educational School in London where she gained her professional teaching qualifications. Lorraine's career started as a professional dancer.

Candy Scott, a professional dance performer and choreographer founded the company in 2008 following the success of her own wedding dance routine to her non-dancing partner Lee. After my own wedding,friends began to ask for my help and then their own friends began to ask too! Since opening, My First Dance has snowballed in new clients coming to me because of its recommendations from my previous wedding couples.

We are a family run business offering latin and ballroom dancing lessons in Hertfordshire. I, Suzanne, as a professional, have been teaching for over 30 years but as a medallist and amateur dancer, Iam not prepared to say! During this time I have seen many "crazes" hitting the ballroom, from the Disco in the 70's through to Western Line Dancing, Salsa and Mambo, but my greatest satisfaction is seeing Ballroom & Latin coming to the front again, thanks to the popularity of Strictly Come Dancing.

Dancing at the Apton Dance Studio is a great way to have fun, keep healthy and make lots of new friends - all whilst learning how to dance correctly and quickly. The school, which celebrated its 25thanniversary in February 2011, offers a variety of group classes for all levels, from beginners through to medal classes.
