Star 3 with distinction. Debbie had much success winning many competitions in both styles. The pinnacle of her career was when she won the All England Amateur 10 dance competition with her dance partner, receiving official recognition from the English Amateur Dancers Association. She also competed in the difficult May open competition and achieved top 100 status.
The Anderson School of Dance is owned and run by Miss Anderson. She started dancing at the age of 2 1/2 taking classes in ballet and later on in tap, modern, jazz, disco, ballroom and latin dance. Whilst at school she trained at King Slocombe School of Dance in Cambridge. At the age of 18, after taking A levels, she went on to train at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Surrey.
