I started my dancing career as a student for 14yr at a premier dance school in my native Scotland. I learned modern, jazz, disco, tap, majorettes, ballroom and Latin American dance. In 1991 I waslucky enough to receive the highest award to be held in dance - called the "Le Classique de Dance Award" for being a prominent member of the best dance troup in Britain. I then went on to receive a scholarship for entry into the Brian Rogers Performance Dance College in Essex.

We are based in 58-62 Holderness Road Hull. Our new facility has two studios, the main area has a dance floor area of almost 3,000 sq feet and the training studio has over 2,000 sq feet of dancefloor. With a new bar and increased seating and an extra large stage, we are pleased to announce that we will be increasing both the range and frequency of our classes and also providing special events and celebrity entertainment evenings.

Situated in the heart of Hull, NAPA is a registered charity and a non profit making organisation. We invest all proceeds back in to the Academy ensuring we are able to provide up to date equipment, resources and the best teaching staff. As a school we are dedicated to providing quality, affordable performing arts training for young people. The school offers classes in Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre for budding performers aged 3-19 as extra curricular activities, after school, and at weekends.
