At Emanay School of Dancing we believe that learning to dance should be a fun and enjoyable experience. We can offer dance classes for all abilities from total beginners to dance teacher training.Established in 1984 Emanay School of Dancing owners Malcolm and Andrea Marshall are both Fellows of the Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association, with Andrea qualifying as an examiner in 2004.
NDC is a family business which was established in 1932. It is now in the hands of the third generation of the family, along with a large team of teachers lead by our qualified and passionateprincipals. We are very proud of our team, many of whom were pupils. They are highly qualified in dance, vocal training and drama and are delighted to share their knowledge with the dance centre pupils.
Art should not leave you out in the cold; it should open the door to a possibility of a fuller, richer life. For me, this happened with a performance by balletLORENT. We are supported by Arts CouncilEngland in our endeavour to deliver an eclectic programme of dance for audiences of all ages, in diverse settings and with world-class collaborators. Snow White will premiere at Northern Stage in October 2015, followed by a national tour.

Newcastle Pole Dancing was one of the first pole dancing schools in Newcastle and has been around since 2007. Based in the heart of the city, Newcastle Pole Dancing School is easy to find and thanksto the multi storey car park directly behind the venue we use, it's easy to park, too. Please note that unfortunately we can't allow pregnant ladies to take part in our pole parties.

I started my ballet training at the age of 11 at the Affleck Academy of Dancing where I remained for 15 years, during this time I studied classical ballet up to Intermediate level before embarking onmy teacher training. In 2003 I graduated from Northumbria University with a BA Honours degree in Performance and finally gained my IDTA Associate dance teaching qualification in 2006.
