Sidmouth Ballet School and subsequently East Devon Dance Academy were founded in 1981, and from the 50 pupils it first started with now has in excess of 600. Most of our students come to classes just as a hobby and means of exercise, but there are those who want to make dancing their career whether it's on stage or to teach.
