At our purpose built dance studio our classes in ballroom and latin dance styles (as seen on Strictly Come Dancing) are very popular. In these you will experience the ballroom dances waltz, foxtrot, quickstep and tango and the latin dances cha cha, rumba, jive and samba, starting with the basics and progressing to choreographed routines, even with no previous dancing experience.

Children starting in our youngest age groups begin with lessons which have been specially devised to develop the skills needed to study dance, but which also help co-ordination, musicality, confidenceand imagination. The classes follow themes aimed at pre school children which they will enjoy and which will encourage them.

Coming from Bath it was my ambition to provide an accessible, affordable, professional training facility within the South West. With professional vocational performing arts / drama schools previouslyonly existing in London or the north of England, students from the region now have an opportunity to access vocational training at a professional level. I was very lucky in receiving funding for my training at the Royal Ballet School. Being a dancer is the most amazing job.

Most people know what to expect from a Ballet or Tap class, but I often get asked 'what is Modern Dance?' Think of Musical Theatre - Cats, Fame, and think of X-Factor backing dancers! I describe it tothe children as High School Musical style! The class incorporates a warm up, stretching and strengthening, and dance steps to perform in both Jazz and Lyrical (floaty!) styles.

A little bit about myself. I have loved dancing for as long as I can remember - I did ballet classes as a small child and then when on Holiday in Bognor with my parents, grandparents and sister I sawladies in big bustly dresses twirling around the dance floor doing old time and modern sequence dancing (like on the old "Come Dancing" programme).
