Ruth Montgomery and many distinguished teachers influenced Allan highly in the early years, so much that he got accepted at Rambert School in London. After training he went back to his native Denmark where he worked and performed for choreographers and theatre people including Eske Holm, Craig Revel Horwood, Claus Nielsen, Das Beckwerk and Tatjana t'Felt touring Finland, Germany and Austria. After returning back to England, Allan is qualifying as a ballet teacher in The Cecchetti Method.

J's Dance Factory was born four years ago to give children between the ages of 3 and 17 the chance to access quality, affordable dance classes in London and the South East. In a short space of time the school has grown from one class a week to a school that has 200 children attending classes across four areas of London and the South East.
