Ishtar is an accredited international dancer with more than 2 decades of professional experience. She embarked on her amazing artistic journey when at the age of 2 she joined a local dance school. Shecontinued her dance education which included Latin, Jazz ballet, Street dance, Hip hop, and became a teenage Ballroom champion. She went on to work as an actress and choreographer for a regional theatre company, before travelling the world.
After turning professional with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing opened the dance school 20 years ago. To further his qualifications he continued his learning and is now a fellow within theISTD and IDTA. Proceeded to take medals with the IDTA into adult hood. The interest to teach then took hold. Ann specialises in the youngesters within the school and is the principal of the musical theatre production held each year.
The Children's Ballet Centre is a friendly fast growing successful school, it was established in 2009 by Laura Gregory. The Childrens' ballet centre now have over 100 students who come from a widearea. Children are accepted into Baby Ballet Academy from 3 years.
Deborah Rich started Flipside Dance based in Cobham Surrey in 2007 with only 6 enthusiastic students teaching them hip hop. Due to Deborah's passion for teaching students how to perform, FlipsideDance has since flourished and now offers classes in all dance disciplines that gives students more opportunities.
We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre, boys only street following the IDTA syllabus and AQA GCSE Performing Arts (Dance.) Street takes any form of popular music - from pop tohip hop - and choreographs routines to the beats. Street is what you see on all the music channels and Top of the Pops. Some of the most successful pop acts have made it big by combining Streetdance routines with their tunes and lyrics.
Gemma's passion for and commitment to dancing was such that, having started dancing for fun, she decided to take up teaching ballroom and latin dancing to adults as a career and has passed herAssociate Ballroom and Associate Latin teaching exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD). The things Gemma enjoys most about teaching dance are seeing people having fun and their sense of achievement when students master a step or some element of technique in a dance.
Our aim is to inspire the love of dance and movement in a positive environment. We aim to improve all of our students confidence and aim to help fulfill their potential in the performing arts. Ourstudents have participated in Royal Ballet Associates, London Junior and Senior ballet and Cecchetti Associates and Scholars. Students have gone on to full time training at Bird, Elmhurst, Tring Park, Ballet West and Central.
Ballet and Contemporary Dance Sharon holds a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education, and is a Registered Teacher and Licentiate of The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
