Trained to advanced RAD ballet and ISTD modern and tap with Clare Toohey, Malvern. Also gaining Advanced BBO with Janet Lupino. I was a BBO Scholar. I was offered a place at Elmhurst aged of 11 but ended up staying and training locally. I danced in the pantomime and various other shows each year at the Festival Theatre. I performed at the NIA Birmingham aged 13. At the age 16 I was awarded a scholarship to London Studio Centre.

Since that move we've been able to expand the range of classes, introduce the Melody Bear Movement syllabus and extend the ages being taught (18mths - adults). Classes are available in ballet, modern and tap and we hold workshops for drama and singing.

The Viv Kelly School of Dance and Theatre is the dance school for enjoyment and pleasure, welcoming all those with a love of dance. We believe in giving everyone the opportunity to take part. Lindsay Kelly and the teachers in the school are all fully qualified and have a wealth of experience in both professional and amateur theatre which they bring with enthusiasm to the classes. All of the students in the school are welcome to take part in shows throughout the year in Shrewsbury's Theatre Severn.
Whether you are a complete beginner, or an advanced dancer we can offer you the opportunity to expand your experience, either within a class environment or in a private lesson. Private lessons are perfect for a special wedding/first dance. Also shift - workers who struggle to commit to a weekly class may prefer 1:1 sessions. We are very pleased to say that we have a fabulous social scene with people of all ages getting together for practice nights, social dances, balls and dance trips away.
Sarah studied Dance with related arts for three years at University College Chichester, graduating in 2003. Then completing a Diploma in dance Teaching with The British Ballet Organization (BBO) graduating in 2006 with a specialism in classical Ballet. Since then she has been involved in dance within a broad range of settings, initially working with those with learning difficulties teaching and assisting dance and drama in Chichester.
