Established for over 48 years and based at Studley Castle in Warwickshire, The Latham School of Dance offers dance classes to train aspiringperformers in all aspects of Theatre Arts. The dancing school was established in 1979 when Wendy qualified as an Associate Member of the National Association Of Teachers Of Dancing. Since that time Wendy has spent fourteen years teaching danceand P.E. at a private school while establishing her own classes and teaching for Jean Blessington in Burton. In 1986 Wendy took over the running of the dancing school from Jean as a wedding present. Wendy regularly attends refresher courses and lectures and continutes to add to her qualifications.
Our dance is for all ages. We run regular workshops and projects for a wide range of people of all ages, often led by guest artists or visiting dance companies. Each year there are opportunities forboth experienced dancers and people who have never danced before to get involved in one-off workshops, performance projects and to watch dance in a theatre or unusual space somewhere in Herefordshire or Worcestershire.

It was previously known as 'Richard Rose Academy' where the core subjects were Ballroom and Latin. Kerrey Clarke, the principal of the school, altered the timetable considerably to create a theatreschool concentrating mainly on Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Tap. Since 2003 the timetable has extended greatly introducing new subjects such as Hip Hop, BOKWA, Zumba and even Pole dance Exercise.
10 years after opening my school in Moseley with just a handful of students, I am delighted to now be able to offer a much wider range of dance opportunities not only to my dedicated students but alsoto new students and adults. As always, due to my background with The Royal ballet School and Birmingham Royal ballet, the core of my classes lie within ballet but I am now able to include other beneficial dance and exercise forms such as yoga, pilates and contemporary.
Natalie Tierney, Principal of Centre Stage Dance Academy has been dancing since the age of four. Dancing and performing has always been Natalie's passion and over the years she won numerous trophiesand awards and has performed at theatres throughout the UK. She completed her dance teacher qualifications at the age of sixteen and began teaching children of all ages at her local dance school in Great Barr, Birmingham.

I am a fully registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance which is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world. I am also registered with theIDTA and ABD [formerly MIDAA]. I have been teaching classical ballet and all subjects of stage dance for over 30 years and have also danced on the professional stage. A number of girls who have trained with me have gone on to work professionally both on stage and in teaching careers.
We teach Ballet, Tap and Modern Jazz following the IDTA syllabus which focuses on strong technique whilst retaining an element of fun to keep the pupils engaged at all times. We pride ourselves onpreparing and inspiring our students to pass their exams with flying colours. A large percentage of our students consistently achieve 'Honours' and 'Distinctions' as a result of their determination and hard work, mirroring the ethos of the dedicated teaching team.
Eve is really good at involving everyone at the sessions and makes sure that the quieter children don't get left out. I have seen each and every child's confidence grow week by week and it's a realpleasure to see. Lottie had an amazing birthday party with Dancing Days, All the children (and some grown ups!) joined in and really enjoyed it, the children were absolutely captivated, some as young as just two. Hi I'm Michelle Nevin, Principal of Arabesque School of Dance. I am a registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association and have over 20 years teachingexperience of all ages, from children aged 2 through to adults.
Classic Academy of Dance is owned by Principal Elizabeth Watts. As well as 3 dance studios at their Willenhall based dance school, we also have our own dance wear shop, Jewels. We sell all uniformrequired at Classic Academy as well as dance shoes, dancewear and accessories. We also offer a Flexibility class, as well as specialist lessons in Pointe work and Contemporary. Pole Dancing is a form of performance art - a combination of sensual dancing and gymnastics on a vertical pole. Here at the British Pole Dance Academy we perform more athletic moves such as climbs,spins and body inversions (upside down). We see fitness as a by product of Pole Dancing and do NOT run our classes like an aerobics class.
