Emma started taking Ballet classes at the age of 3 and worked her way through all of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) Cecchetti grades up to Advanced and then taking and passing her teaching exam in 1997. Emma began assisting in children's classes at the age of 14, so she has 25 years teaching experience. To enable teachers to remain registered with the ISTD, they are required to update their qualifications, by going on courses and taking more exams.
